Although Ava is now fully recovered and healthy, Hallie, traumatized by what she went through, is constantly worried about her and takes medication to calm her anxieties.

A painter, she is delighted to unexpectedly meet Megan, an artistic agent, who quickly becomes a very close friend.

New mom Hallie is devoted to her baby, who had a heart transplant when she was born. Hallie is thrilled when she makes a new friend in Megan, but Hallie’s life takes a sinister turn as danger seems to follow her every move.
